ABOUT ME

During my undergraduate degree in physics, I was involved in research projects spanning the fields of astrobiology, biochemistry, biophysics and neuroscience, and had the opportunity to participate in collaborative research projects in both Germany and Denmark. I also briefly worked as a data scientist in the financial sector. Through all of these experiences, I became fascinated about life, and specifically the brain - how our past experiences help us make predictions about the future, how our environment and experiences shape our genes, and how our emotions are linked to our memories. This led me to my current PhD project studying the mechanisms of learning and forgetting. Outside of my research, I love learning about, teaching and writing about science, and hope to share my passion with others.
